The Hydro-Climate and Ocean Centre (HCO) is an independent research and consultancy institute dedicated to hydro-climatic and ocean sciences. Established as a self-sustaining organization, HCO provides high-quality research, policy support, capacity building, and training services across the water, climate, and marine sectors. Through innovative science and practical solutions, we work to support resilient communities and healthy ecosystems.
HCO serves as a multidisciplinary hub for research, consultancy, training, and capacity development in hydro-climatic and ocean sciences, offering evidence-based solutions that contribute to sustainable development. We work closely with government agencies, academic institutions, and development partners to address critical challenges in water resource management, coastal resilience, and climate adaptation.
Our expertise includes the application of advanced and globally recognized tools and technologies such as ROMS, Delft3D, WRF, MIKE, machine learning and artificial intelligence, numerical modeling, GIS and remote sensing, and HEC-RAS. HCO is committed to empowering undergraduate students, early-career professionals, individual researchers, and scientists through knowledge sharing, technical support, and collaborative innovation.
